How in God’s earth I’ve got to this position, I will not know.
But I’ve just been featured in the Irish times as a TikTok teacher 🤯
Like that’s totally mad.
I never, ever imagined I’d be in this position.
But the thing has just kicked. We now have 130,000 followers. I’m going TikTok lives with over 17,000 people tuning into my TikTok lives last week.
That’s phenomenal numbers.
It’s all about giving value. Yeah, sound cringe but it’s true. I send out notes and practice tests to every child who is looking for them.
And that matters. Students appreciate the help.
I have 2 full times staff with me, spending hours each morning on replying to DMs. It’s massive effort.
But worth it.
Walking down the Patrick street last week in Cork was gas. I could hear a gaggle of girls saying
Is that your man? The maths fella?
A TikTok star, huh?
It’s fun, and it helps people. That’s what’s key.
